Loxeal 82-33 high-strength anaerobic bearing retainer 50 ml, shaft–hub metal assembly adhesive resistant to vibration and corrosion
Description
Loxeal 82-33 anaerobic bearing retainer 50 ml is a single-component, high-strength, fast-curing compound designed for fixing metal parts in cylindrical assemblies such as shaft–hub joints. It protects against leakage and corrosion and, once cured, forms an elastic, leak-tight bond that withstands vibration and heavy loads. The product can also be used on slightly oily metal surfaces, which simplifies assembly in industrial environments.
Advantages and unique features
- High strength – ensures reliable seating of bearings, drive wheels, sleeves and keys.
- Fast curing – short fixture time reduces machine downtime during assembly.
- Can be applied on slightly oily metal surfaces.
- Resistant to gas, air, water, oils, alkalis and many other chemicals.
- High resistance to shock and vibration – stable joints in drive systems.
- Provides 100% protection against corrosion and excellent sealing of assemblies.
- Fluorescent additive allows inspection of adhesive presence with a UV lamp.
Properties and applications
- Bearing and drive wheel mounting: replaces thermal or press-fit assembly, providing secure shaft–hub connections.
- Mounting of sleeves and keys: keeps components in position and prevents rotation or axial movement during operation.
- High axial loads and torques: ideal where joints are subjected to heavy loads and difficult disassembly is required.
- Sealing of cylindrical joints: completely fills the clearance, ensuring tight systems exposed to liquid or gas pressure.
- Wide service temperature range: maintains mechanical performance from -55 to +150 °C.
- Metal-to-metal joints: intended for metal components only; not recommended for equipment with pure oxygen or chlorine or for thermoplastic materials.

Storage recommendations
Store Loxeal 82-33 in its original, tightly closed container in a dry, cool place at temperatures between +8 and +28 °C. Protect the product from direct sunlight, high temperatures and contamination. After use, clean the bottle neck and close it immediately. Keep away from foodstuffs and out of the reach of children.
FAQ
What is Loxeal 82-33 used for?
Loxeal 82-33 is designed for fixing metal components in cylindrical assemblies such as shaft–hub joints, especially bearings, drive wheels, sleeves and keys, wherever high loads and tightness are required.
How does Loxeal 82-33 differ from medium-strength retainers?
It is a high-strength product that provides more permanent retention of parts; disassembly of the joint is much more difficult and usually requires increased force or heating of the components.
Can Loxeal 82-33 be used on slightly oily surfaces?
Yes, the adhesive can be applied on slightly oily metal surfaces, although for maximum strength thorough cleaning and degreasing of the parts is recommended.
How long does it take to cure?
Typical fixture time is 5–10 minutes, functional strength is reached after 1–3 hours and full cure after approximately 3–10 hours at room temperature.
Is Loxeal 82-33 suitable for all materials?
The product is intended for metal-to-metal joints only and is not recommended for equipment with pure oxygen or chlorine, nor for thermoplastic plastics where stress cracking may occur.
