MOLYKOTE 55 O-Ring Grease 25 kg is a silicone grease for O-rings and seals, designed to operate across a wide temperature range. It promotes positive sealing by slightly swelling elastomers, while offering oxidative stability and reliable friction separation in pneumatic, automotive and general industrial systems.

Properties and applications
- Rubber-to-metal interfaces: lubrication in pneumatic systems (aircraft, automotive, general industry).
- O-rings and gaskets: assembly and service of static/dynamic seals; slight swelling enhances sealing.
- Low-temperature mechanisms: very low start-up torque in cold conditions and stable running torque.
- Compatibility note: test before use; not recommended with silicone rubber (SR), polycarbonate (PC) and ABS; not for liquid oxygen or other strong oxidizers.

Storage recommendations
Store in the original, tightly closed container in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from oxidizers. Recommended storage temperature: ≤ 40 °C; for full shelf life, store ≤ 32 °C. Shelf life up to 60 months from date of manufacture.
