Mobil Rarus 427 ashless lubricant for air compressors 20L

The Mobil Rarus 400 Series is a range of high quality ashless air compressor lubricants designed to meet the stringent requirements of major compressor manufacturers. They are formulated with high quality mineral base oils and a premium additive package designed to provide exceptional equipment protection and reliability for compressors operating in mild to severe conditions. They provide excellent wear protection and the ability to reduce maintenance costs by minimizing equipment problems and carrying sludge and contaminants. With high FZG ratings, the Mobil Rarus 400 Series is an excellent lubricant for compressor systems with gears and bearings, particularly suitable for lubrication of crankcases and cylinders.

Application
Mobil Rarus 400 Series oils are recommended for use in single and multi-stage air compressors. They are especially effective for continuous operation at high temperatures. The maximum compressed air temperature according to DIN 51506 is 220°C. They are suitable for reciprocating and rotary machines where lubricants with lower viscosity grades are used, mainly for rotary compressors. Rarus 400 Series oils are recommended for equipment where problems with excessive oil degradation, poor valve performance or deposit formation are known. They are compatible with all metals used in the construction of compressors and with elastomers compatible with mineral oils used in seals, O-rings and gaskets.

Mobil Rarus 400 Series oils are not intended or recommended for use in breathing air compressors.
