Description

Molykote 3451 Chemical Resistant Bearing Grease is a specialty industrial grease that provides excellent chemical resistance and performance over a wide temperature range. This is a fluorosilicone grease thickened with fluorinated polymers, ideal for applications requiring long-term protection in harsh chemical environments.

Properties :

Chemical resistance: Exceptional resistance to most chemicals, including solvents and acid.
Good load-carrying capacity: The grease maintains its properties even under high loads.
High temperature performance: Thermal stability from -40°C to 232°C.
Seal compatibility: Does not react destructively with most types of seals and packings.
Resistance to washout by water, fuels, oils and solvents: Maintains its properties even under harsh conditions environmental.

Application:

Bearings exposed to chemicals: Ideal for bearings in chemical mixers, pumps and processing equipment.
Fuel and solvent handling equipment: Safe for chemically sensitive equipment.

Storage method:

Molykote 3451 grease should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 32°C, in originally closed containers. The product has a 60-month shelf life from the date of production. In the event of product separation (oil separation), the grease should be stirred before use, which does not negatively affect its lubricating properties.
