Molykote 4
Molykote 4 is a silicone compound with excellent insulating properties that provides high dielectric strength and excellent insulating properties. This product has a semi-liquid consistency, which allows its use in complex geometries and gaps. It is ideal for applications where reliable protection against moisture and corrosion is required.
Applications
- Lubrication and sealing of cable joints, battery terminals, rubber seals and O-rings
- Creation of moisture-resistant seals in ignition systems, electrical connectors, disconnect switches and industrial connectors
- Use in transportation and industrial systems where protection against moisture and corrosion is required

Storage and use recommendations
- Store in original, tightly closed containers
- Shelf life is 60 months from date of production
- Avoid storage at high temperatures and direct sunlight
- Apply manually, by brush or by rubbing into the application
