Molykote P-40
Molykote P-40 is a metal-free lubricating paste that offers excellent corrosion protection, high water resistance and excellent adhesion. It is an ideal product for applications requiring long-term lubrication and protection in difficult operating conditions, such as in the presence of water or moisture.
Application
- Threaded and press-fit connections
- Lubrication of splined shafts and plain bearings
- Use in brake systems, brake rods, guides and axles of heavy goods vehicles
- Protection of components exposed to seawater and corrosion in marine applications

Storage and Use Recommendations
- Store in original sealed container, at a temperature of 0°C to 40°C
- Shelf life is 60 months from date of production
- Surfaces should be cleaned and dried before application
- The product should be applied with a brush, cloth or grease gun
