TEROSON VR 155 – adhesion promoter for plastic surfaces
TEROSON VR 155 150 ml is a xylene-free primer and adhesion promoter designed to prepare plastic surfaces before bonding, sealing, filling or painting. It helps improve the adhesion of subsequent materials to more difficult plastic substrates.
The primer is supplied as a one-component aerosol, allowing it to be applied in a thin and even layer. The minimum flash-off time before applying an adhesive is approximately 5 minutes at 23°C.
Applications of TEROSON VR 155
TEROSON VR 155 is used as an adhesion promoter for adhesives and sealants on plastic surfaces. The manufacturer specifies, among others, the following substrates:
- PP/EPDM,
- polyolefin blends,
- SMC,
- PA,
- ABS.
The product can be used, among other applications, when repairing plastic components in vehicles, before applying plastic repair adhesives, plastic fillers and MS- or PU-based sealants. It is also suitable for preparing appropriate plastic components before painting.

How to use TEROSON VR 155
- The surface should be dry and free from oil, grease, wax, dirt, release agents and plastic care products.
- After preliminary cleaning and drying, clean the surface with a suitable cleaner, such as TEROSON VR 10.
- According to the manufacturer's instructions, the plastic component can be sanded with approximately P120 abrasive, followed by dust removal and another cleaning step.
- Shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least 1 minute before use.
- Apply a thin and even layer of primer.
- Allow a minimum flash-off time of 5 minutes before applying the adhesive.
- After application, turn the can upside down and spray briefly to clear the nozzle and reduce the risk of clogging.
What to consider before use
The solvents contained in the product may affect certain plastics or coatings, therefore compatibility should be checked on a small area before application. The product is a flammable aerosol and should be used in accordance with the current Safety Data Sheet.

Storage
Store in the original, unopened container in a dry place. The manufacturer specifies an optimum storage temperature of 5°C to 25°C. Protect from freezing, direct sunlight, high temperatures and sources of ignition. The container is pressurised.
