Teroson RB 4120 Elastic is an advanced sealing paste intended for professional use in a wide range of industrial and automotive applications. This product is formulated with artificial resins and synthetic rubber, which provides excellent sealing properties and long-lasting flexibility. The black paste has a low solvent content, which minimizes the impact on the environment and ensures safe use.

Properties:

• Flexibility: the material remains flexible even after the solvents evaporate, which prevents cracking and damage due to structural movements or temperature changes.
• Resistance to weather conditions: the paste is highly resistant to weather conditions, such as rain, sun and low temperatures.
• Excellent adhesion: exceptional adhesion to wet surfaces, including glass and rubber, enabling use in difficult conditions.
• Sag resistance: the paste does not settle after application, maintaining its sealing properties without the need for reapplication.
• Waterproof: guarantees tightness even in extreme water conditions, protecting against leaks.

Application:

• Car Window Sealing: Ideal for sealing windscreens and side windows, especially in rainy conditions, where its water resistance provides continuous protection.

• Construction and renovation works: effective in sealing joints in building structures, including windows, doors and other elements exposed to external factors.

Application instructions:

1. Surface preparation:

• Make sure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from oil, grease, dust, dirt and other contaminants that may affect adhesion.
• In the case of car windows or other smooth surfaces, it is recommended to slightly matt the surface before applying the paste to increase adhesion.

2. Application conditions:

• Apply the paste at ambient temperature, preferably between 5°C and 35°C.
• Avoid application in very humid conditions or immediately during rainfall unless the surface is protected.

3. Product application:

• Apply the paste using a caulking gun (manual or pneumatic).
• Introduce the mass evenly, filling all gaps and hard-to-reach places.
• Try to avoid over-applying the product. Excess paste can be removed with a plastic spatula.

4. Cleaning tools and surfaces:

• After completing the work, immediately clean all tools and surfaces of any paste residue.
• To clean the fresh paste, use water and detergent (e.g. window cleaner) before it dries completely.
• Removing dried paste may require the use of special solvents or mechanical removal.

5. Safety and security

• Always wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves and safety glasses when working with chemical materials.
