Product description
Solvent-based chassis compound based on rubber resin. Does not contain bitumen. After drying, it forms a corrosion-resistant, permanently elastic and abrasion-resistant layer with high aging resistance, which does not lose its elasticity even at low temperatures. The dried weight adheres well to the cleaned chassis surfaces, including painted and PVC. Painting the dried material is possible if the varnish is applied in two thin layers.
Use
TEROSON RB R2000 is used as an anti-corrosion agent for new components or to improve the existing protection of the chassis surface: wheel arches, flat parts of the chassis on the sills, front and rear aprons, spoilers, especially as chips to protect against stones. The material adheres well to primed or painted surfaces. TEROSON RB R2000 is also recommended for soundproofing the car body by mounting in wheel arches and on side walls. It can also be used to cover and seal repaired areas, welds and overlap connections.
Surface preparation
Protected surfaces must be dry, free from dust, grease and sand and other elements that reduce adhesion. Rust must be removed. Preferably with a wire brush or sandper. Protective wax must be removed from new vehicles. Pay attention to corroded areas on old cars. Surfaces not coated with TEROSON RB R2000 should be covered with protective paper.
Application
The UBS pistol is needed for application. The air pressure for applying the mass should be 4-5 bar. Mix the contents of the can thoroughly, shaking before use. Do not leave the used container uncovered, as a hard, dry crust will form on the surface of the material. TEROSON RB R2000 can be applied wet up to a thickness of 1.5 mm on vertical surfaces. To avoid spray shadows, it is necessary to spray in two directions - across. After application, the vehicle can be used after 2-4 hours under favorable weather conditions. Full curing of the material takes from 24 to 48 hours. For cleaning uncured material, we recommend FL Remover.
