Transol 220 industrial gear oils are obtained from selectively refined mineral oils, contain lead-free additives improving lubricating properties (sulfur-phosphorus type) and a package of anticorrosive additives, increasing resistance to oxidation, anti-foaming and demulsifying.
• protect individual parts of the transmission, i.e. gear wheels, rolling and slide bearings, against excessive mechanical wear during operation,
• protect the structural elements of the gears made of steel and non-ferrous metals against corrosion against the chemical influence of the active components of the oil and its oxidation products,
• thanks to high thermo-oxidative stability, they enable long-term operation at elevated temperatures without losing their properties,
• the applied anti-foam and demulsifying additives prevent the reduction of lubricating properties of the oil due to the formation of permanent foam and oil-water emulsion.
Transol 220 oils are intended for the lubrication of medium-duty mechanical gears in industrial equipment, often transmitting shock loads, e.g. rolling equipment in metallurgy, construction machinery, machines working in cement plants, hoists and reloading devices in the shipbuilding industry, in machine tools, in gears of steam and gas turbines. , in machines used in the paper industry and in other devices, at temperatures up to 100oC, requiring the use of oils with increased resistance of the lubricating layer to load (oils contain EP - Extreme Pressure additives), good thermo-oxidative stability when used at higher temperatures and good anti-corrosion properties ( against iron and non-ferrous metals) and demulsifying.
Transol 220 oils can be used when gears are exposed to aggressive environmental influences (steam, corrosive gases), as well as when devices are exposed to changing ambient temperatures (cranes, winches, etc.).
