Product description
WEICON Repair Stick Aqua 57 g – epoxy repair compound for underwater applications
WEICON Repair Stick Aqua is a two-component epoxy repair compound in stick form with a ceramic filler. It is designed for quick repairs, filling and sealing damage on damp and wet surfaces as well as for underwater applications.
After cutting off the required amount, the material must be thoroughly kneaded until a uniform consistency and colour are obtained. This form makes it easy to prepare a small quantity without separately measuring the resin and hardener.
Applications of WEICON Repair Stick Aqua
The product can be used to repair and seal cracks, holes and leaks in fuel and water tanks, radiators, sanitary equipment and swimming pools. The manufacturer also specifies its use in sanitary and heating installations, electrical equipment, the marine sector and other industrial applications.

Storage
Store in the unopened original packaging in a dry place at a constant room temperature. Protect from heat sources and direct or indirect sunlight. The current manufacturer TDS specifies a minimum shelf life of 24 months at room temperature. Once opened, the shelf life is reduced.
How to use
Cut or twist off the required amount of Repair Stick Aqua and thoroughly knead the components until a uniform consistency and colour are obtained. Apply the prepared compound to the gap, hole or crack before the working time expires.
At room temperature, the repaired area reaches mechanical strength after approximately 60 minutes and can then be tapped, drilled or sanded. Larger quantities of prepared material and higher temperatures accelerate the reaction and shorten the working time.
Safety
The product is classified as a hazardous mixture. It may cause skin and eye irritation, an allergic skin reaction and long-lasting harmful effects to aquatic life. Follow the information on the label and the manufacturer's current safety data sheet during use.
FAQ
Can WEICON Repair Stick Aqua be used underwater?
Yes. The product was specially developed for quick repairs on damp and wet surfaces, including applications carried out underwater.
Do the two components need to be measured separately?
No. The resin and hardener are contained within the structure of the stick. Cut off the required quantity and knead it thoroughly until a homogeneous compound and uniform colour are obtained.
How long can the prepared compound be worked with?
The current TDS specifies a working time of approximately 10 minutes for a 10 g quantity at 20°C. A larger quantity or higher temperature can shorten this time.
When can the repaired area be machined?
The manufacturer states that after approximately 60 minutes at room temperature the repaired area reaches sufficient mechanical strength for operations such as drilling, tapping or sanding.
What size gap can be filled?
WEICON Repair Stick Aqua can fill gaps up to 15 mm wide in a single application.
What is the temperature resistance after curing?
The cured compound is temperature-resistant from -50°C to +120°C and briefly up to +150°C.
