Description
WEICON Zinc Spray bright grade 400 ml is a fast-drying light-shade zinc aerosol that creates a corrosion-protective film matching the look of fresh hot-dip galvanizing. It delivers long-term cathodic protection and excellent adhesion on new or repaired metal parts.
Benefits and key features
- Corrosion protection >550 h in salt spray test (DIN EN ISO 9227)
- Brighter galvanizing shade – fresh hot-dip zinc appearance
- Fast drying: touch-dry in approx. 15 minutes
- High metal content in dry film (~70%)
- Temperature resistance −50 °C to +300 °C
- Repaintable after 24 hours
Properties and applications
- Repair of zinc coatings: colour blending and protection of welds, drilled or ground areas.
- Anti-corrosion primer: conductive intermediate layer for spot welding.
- Long-term protection: micro-flake Zn/Al film provides a durable, hydrophobic barrier.
