Syntheso GLK 1 is a professional grease created specifically for the assembly and lubrication of elastomers, including EPDM materials, and other plastics that facilitate assembly and provide reliable and long-lasting lubrication in various industrial applications, especially in braking systems of motor vehicles.
Properties:
- Special grease for assembly and lubrication, with an almost neutral effect on many elastomers (including EPDM) and plastics.
- Offers excellent wear protection, high load-bearing capacity, good adhesion and water resistance.
- Available in a variety of packaging including cans, pails and drums of various capacities.
Application:
- Designed for the lubrication of material combinations such as elastomer-metal, plastic-metal, plastic-plastic and metal-metal.
- Typically used in the automotive industry as an assembly grease for plain bearings, especially in braking and clutch systems operating in contact with DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluids.
- Examples of application include lubrication of guide sleeves, screws, EPDM and SBR seals, brake and clutch cylinders, protection against corrosion of brake pad supports in disc brake calipers.
How to use:
- Before using Syntheso GLK 1, it is recommended to carry out a wear test under dynamic loading of aluminum or aluminum alloys.
- Due to the variety of elastomers and plastics used, it is recommended to check compatibility before serial use.
- The color change of the grease is inherent in the product design, but does not affect its performance.
