LOCTITE® LB 8040 ™ is a special formulation of mineral oil to release rusty, corroded and seized parts. The quick freezing effect down to -43 ° C cools the parts immediately and causes microscopic cracks in the rust layer. This allows the lubricating components to penetrate directly into the rust by capillary action. The released parts remain lubricated and protected against corrosion.
