LOCITE SI 5607 is a two-component structural adhesive based on alkoxy silicone. The adhesive is ideal for the consumer equipment industry and its application includes gluing and sealing. The material is suitable for bonding among others the following materials:

LOCITE SI 5607 is a neutral silicone with an average curing speed. At an average temperature of 22 ºC, silicone achieves a dry touch within 25-70 minutes. After 24 hours, it is already optimally cured, and full strength is obtained after 7 days.

Instructions for use
- glued surfaces should be clean, degreased and dust-free. This will help to achieve high strength of structural bonding
- gluing should be carried out in protective gloves, and in case of contact of the material with the skin, solvents should not be used
- place the cartouche in the dosing gun and slowly press the pistons. Only at this point, remove the cartridge cap and squeeze out a small amount of silicone to make sure that both ingredients dispense evenly and without interference. If everything goes correctly, apply a mixing nozzle and start dosing glue.
- the product should be applied as soon as possible
- the connected parts must remain stationary and should not be exposed to any loads until full strength is obtained
- possible excess silicone can be removed with non-polar solvents
Storage
Store in a dry place at a temperature of 8 to 21 ºC. Storage at too low or too high a temperature can irreversibly change the properties of silicone.
