Molykote 1000
Molykote 1000 is a high-load bearing lubricant paste designed specifically for metal/metal bolting applications, particularly where high temperatures and corrosion occur. This product enables easy disassembly after long-term use even under extreme conditions, while providing excellent protection against wear and corrosion.
Application
- First lubrication and protection of bolted connections exposed to high temperatures up to 650°C
- Ideal for cylinder head bolts, plastic injection molding machine injectors and bolted connections in the chemical industry
- Used in centrifuge tension rings and other highly loaded mechanical elements

Storage and use recommendations
- Store in original sealed containers at temperatures below 20°C
- Shelf life is 60 months from the date of production
- Before application, clean threads and screws thoroughly, preferably using a wire brush
- Do not mix the paste with other greases or oils, so as not to change its properties
