Application
Handling and storage
- Read the safety data sheet before use.
- Do not store at temperatures above 50°C.
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
- For maximum performance, use the adhesive at a temperature of 18°C, but always above 10°C.
- Do not store directly on a concrete floor.
- Condition the substrates at a normal room temperature of 18°C for 48 hours before bonding.
- Do not exceed the adhesive open time.
- It is recommended to test the product to determine its suitability for the intended application before using it in production.
Instructions for use
- The product has been designed to be sprayed onto two surfaces to bond them together. For the best results, the temperature of the adhesive and the bonded materials should be between 16°C and 27°C.
- Use in adequately ventilated areas. We recommend shaking the container thoroughly before use.
- Before use, check compatibility by spraying a small test amount of adhesive onto the surface. This product may degrade some substrates.
- Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are dry, clean and free from dust, grease, wax, paint residues, lubricant and other contaminants.
- Spray from a distance of 10–20 cm at a 90° angle to the substrate until a uniform and even adhesive layer covering 80 to 100% of the bonded surfaces is obtained. If necessary, spray another layer of adhesive in areas where coverage is insufficient.
- Apply the adhesive to both surfaces being bonded. Spray one surface vertically and the other horizontally.
- Wait 1–3 minutes for the solvent to evaporate. The time may vary depending on the thickness of the adhesive coating and external conditions such as temperature and humidity.
- Join the components and press them together. The greater the pressure applied, the higher the bond strength. We therefore recommend using a roller to obtain even and firm pressure. The bond reaches its final strength after 24 hours.
