Description

Anderol C-NRT 68 20L is an exceptionally stable synthetic compressor and vacuum pump oil designed for operation in contact with aggressive, acidic process gases. Thanks to its chemical inertness and very high thermal and oxidative stability, it provides long-term lubrication and reliable protection of compressors and vacuum pumps in the most demanding industrial applications.

The product eliminates lacquer and deposit formation, reduces energy consumption and significantly extends oil drain intervals, resulting in lower service costs and higher equipment availability.

Advantages and unique features

  • Acid-resistant, chemically inert to acidic process gases – ideal for systems with aggressive media.
  • No metal-containing additives – does not interfere with catalytic processes or chemical reactions.
  • Outstanding thermal and oxidative stability – extended oil drain intervals.
  • Greatly reduced fire and explosion hazard due to high resistance to degradation and ignition.
  • Very good demulsibility – fast separation of water from the system.
  • Lower oil consumption and no lacquer or deposit build-up on compressor components.
  • Reduced energy consumption thanks to a clean system and low flow resistance.
  • High material compatibility – easy retrofit after mineral oils or PAO-based fluids.

Properties and applications

  • Synthetic compressor oil: for centrifugal and screw compressors operating with process gases, air and flammable gases.
  • Vacuum pump oil: for pumps handling aggressive, reactive gases where conventional mineral or ester oils fail rapidly.
  • Service with acidic and reactive gases: recommended for fluorinated gases, sulfur-containing gases, unsaturated hydrocarbons and other process gas mixtures.
  • Wide temperature range: nominal operating range from -40 °C to 170 °C allows use in both low- and high-temperature installations.
  • Deposit control: detergency helps to prevent lacquer and deposit formation on valves, impellers and lines.
  • Upgrades and retrofits: high compatibility with common seal and paint materials enables easy conversion from mineral oils without major system changes.

Storage recommendations

Store Anderol C-NRT 68 in original, tightly closed containers in a dry, well-ventilated area away from heat sources and open flames. Protect the product from contamination and moisture – before filling the system, make sure that containers, funnels and equipment are clean. Do not mix with other lubricants unless approved by the manufacturer and follow local regulations when disposing of used oil.

FAQ

1) Which compressor oil should be used with acidic, aggressive gases?
Anderol C-NRT 68 is a synthetic oil chemically inert to acidic process gases, developed specifically for such applications where conventional mineral oils rapidly degrade.

2) Is this oil suitable for vacuum pumps as well?
Yes, it is designed for both compressors and vacuum pumps, especially where reactive gases are present and very high system cleanliness is required.

3) What is the operating temperature range of Anderol C-NRT 68?
The nominal operating range is from -40 °C to 170 °C, allowing use in both low- and high-temperature systems.

4) Do seals need to be changed when converting from mineral oil?
In terms of compatibility the oil is similar to mineral oils, so in most cases seal replacement is not required – however, the system should be thoroughly cleaned and flushed before conversion.

5) What operational benefits does this oil provide?
Using Anderol C-NRT 68 extends oil drain intervals, minimizes deposit formation, improves water separation and helps to reduce energy consumption, leading to lower maintenance costs and higher equipment reliability.
