Fischer FPX M6-I – aerated concrete anchor with M6 internal thread
Fischer FPX M6-I is a mechanical steel anchor with an M6 internal thread designed for fastening in autoclaved aerated concrete. The M6 version creates a fixing point for a suitably selected screw or another compatible M6 threaded element.
The FPX-I system expands in four directions. During installation, the cone is drawn into the square expansion sleeve and the expansion elements create an undercut in the aerated concrete. The sleeve design helps prevent the anchor from rotating in the drill hole.
When should FPX M6-I be selected?
FPX M6-I is intended for applications requiring a fixing point with an M6 internal thread. The manufacturer specifies a minimum insertion depth of 10 mm and a maximum insertion depth of 15 mm for the mating M6 threaded element.
Applications in aerated concrete
The FPX-I system can be used, among other applications, for suspended ceilings, cable trays, pipes, ventilation ducts, railings and handrails, brackets, cabinets and stand-off installations.
