Fischer FPX M8-I – anchor with M8 internal thread for aerated concrete
Fischer FPX M8-I is a mechanical steel anchor with an M8 internal thread designed for fastening in aerated concrete. The M8 version creates a durable fixing point that can be used with a suitably selected M8 threaded element.
The FPX-I design uses four expansion zones which create an undercut in the aerated concrete during installation. This helps secure the anchor in the substrate and reduces rotation during installation.
What is Fischer FPX M8-I used for?
The FPX M8-I anchor is designed for fastening in aerated concrete. The system can be used, among other applications, for installing services, brackets, equipment, cable trays, ventilation ducts, pipes and other components requiring a fixing point with an M8 internal thread.
Why choose the M8 version?
The M8 internal thread allows a screw or another compatible threaded element to be selected for the specific application. The minimum insertion depth of the M8 threaded element is 8 mm and the maximum is 15 mm.
Installing the FPX M8-I anchor
