Fischer FPX M10-I – aerated concrete anchor with M10 internal thread
Fischer FPX M10-I is a mechanical steel anchor designed for fastening in autoclaved aerated concrete. The M10 version creates a fixing point with an M10 internal thread for a suitably selected screw or another compatible threaded element.
The FPX-I system expands in four directions. During installation, the expansion elements create an undercut in the aerated concrete, while the sleeve design helps reduce rotation of the anchor in the drill hole.
FPX M10-I – fixing point with M10 internal thread
The FPX M10-I version should be selected when the connection requires an M10 internal thread. The specified insertion depth of the mating M10 threaded element is between 10 and 15 mm. The length of the screw or threaded element should also be selected according to the geometry of the fixture.
Applications in aerated concrete
The FPX-I system is designed for fastening in autoclaved aerated concrete. It can be used, among other applications, for suspended ceilings, cable trays, pipes, ventilation ducts, railings and handrails, brackets, cabinets and other components requiring a durable fixing point with an M10 thread.
The application must be selected in accordance with ETA-12/0456 and the manufacturer's current technical data for the specific substrate and fixing configuration.
Installing FPX M10-I
For the FPX M10-I version, a 10 mm drill hole is required. The minimum drill hole depth is 95 mm, the anchor length is 75 mm and the minimum anchorage depth is 70 mm.
The installation torque is 3 Nm. Detailed fixing spacing, edge distances and permissible loads should be selected according to ETA-12/0456 and the manufacturer's current technical tables.
