Loxeal 43 low-viscosity cyanoacrylate adhesive 20 g, clear high-strength CA for metals, rubber and plastics with extended setting time
Description
Loxeal cyanoacrylate adhesive 43 20 g is a single-component, fast-curing CA adhesive with low viscosity, designed for bonding metals, rubber and plastics. It provides very high bond strength and an extended working time, allowing accurate positioning of parts before clamping. The adhesive is little affected by lightly etched metal surfaces and is well suited wherever a reliable and repeatable joint is required.
Advantages and unique features
- Low viscosity – easily wets and penetrates narrow gaps and capillaries.
- Very high tensile and shear strength after curing.
- Extended setting time facilitates alignment and adjustment of components before bonding.
- Low sensitivity to slightly etched metal surfaces.
- Transparent bond line for a neat appearance on visible parts.
- Ideal for bonding small components and precision assemblies.
- Can be used with activators to accelerate curing and to build thicker adhesive layers.
Properties and applications
- Substrates: metals, glass, wood, rubber, plastics, cork, paper, stone.
- Typical uses: assembly of small parts, mechanical and electronic components, quick repairs and bonding of mixed materials.
- Curing behaviour: single-component cyanoacrylate adhesive curing by reaction with surface and ambient moisture within seconds; full mechanical strength is reached after about 24 hours.
- Fatigue resistance: the cured joint withstands vibrations and alternating loads.
- Joint gap: recommended gap thickness typically between 10 and 150 µm.
- Industrial service: service temperature range from approximately -50 to +80 °C enables use in many workshop and production applications.
- Curing acceleration: suitable activators can be used to shorten fixture times and cure excess adhesive in the joint.

Storage recommendations
Store Loxeal 43 in its original, tightly closed bottle in a dry, cool place at temperatures between +8 and +28 °C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. After use, clean the dispensing tip and close the bottle immediately. Keep the product away from moisture and foodstuffs and out of the reach of children.
FAQ
Which materials can be bonded with Loxeal cyanoacrylate adhesive 43?
It bonds metals, rubber and plastics as well as glass, wood, cork, paper and stone.
How does Loxeal 43 differ from a standard CA adhesive?
It combines low viscosity with very high bond strength and an extended setting time, which makes positioning of parts easier.
How fast does the adhesive cure?
Fixture times range from a few to several tens of seconds depending on the substrate and joint design.
Can the curing process be accelerated?
Yes, appropriate activators can be used to speed up polymerisation and to cure excess adhesive in the joint.
What is the service temperature range of the cured bond?
After curing, the adhesive maintains its properties between approximately -50 and +80 °C.
