Application
Loctite 420 is suitable for bonding plastics and rubber materials that require quick assembly and penetrating properties of the adhesive.
Surface Preparation for Adhesive Bonding
Surfaces that will be bonded should be cleaned and degreased beforehand. For this purpose, we recommend Loctite 7063. Before bonding of the poliolefines we recommend Loctite Primer SF 770 to be used. If necessary, you can use Loctite Activator, however, it should not be applied to surfaces previously covered with Loctite Primer. More details can be found in the technical data sheet in the DOWNLOAD tab.

The curing time depends on the type of material, ambient humidity and temperature. Thin gaps and avoiding excess of the glue should result in faster curing.
