Description
Unisilikon L 250 L is a unique lubricant that is used in valves, fittings and regulatory mechanisms in the drinking water, beverages, sanitary and heating sectors. provides effective protection and lubrication in hard-to-reach places. It is a special lubricant based on silicone oil and PTFE
Properties:
- Effective in valves, fittings and control mechanisms in the drinking water, beverage, sanitary and heating sectors.
- Certified according to international standards for valves and fittings, e.g. DVGW-KTW, WRAS, ACS, AS 4020, NSF 61 and NSF H1.
- Long-term protection of seals and bearings thanks to the grease's good resistance to various substances such as disinfectants, cleaning agents, water and steam.
- Resistant to cold and hot water, superheated steam up to approximately 130°C, as well as to industrial cleaning agents and disinfectants.
- Resistance to food and beverage substances such as fruit juices, beer and dairy products.
Application:
- Used as a lubricant and sealant in valves and fittings in the drinking water sector (e.g. ceramic lumber and piston inserts, thermostats). Thanks to its viscosity, this grease improves adhesion even in the case of unfavorable geometry.
- Effective in valves and fittings in heating installations (e.g. thermostats, side taps, seals for push-in connections).
- It is also suitable as an assembly agent for radial seals and bands in contact with cold or hot water and steam.
- This grease is neutral towards most metals, thermoplastics and elastomers.
How to use:
- Before using Unisilikon L 250 L, it is recommended to check its compatibility with specific elastomers and plastics that will come into contact with it.
- The grease can be applied using a spatula, brush, standard grease application equipment or by pad printing.
