Description
Melkib UV 6000P Glue is a single-component UV-cured adhesive, designed to provide durable, flexible bonds with excellent resistance to environmental conditions. It has exceptional adhesion to a variety of materials such as glass, many types of plastics and most metals, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial applications, especially when bonding PVC to polycarbonate.
Properties:
- One-component formula: facilitates application and hardens under the influence of UV/VIS light in the range of 220 ~ 400 nm.
- Environmental resistance: Provides excellent resistance to long-term humidity, thermal cycling and impact.
- Flexibility and shock absorption: allows for filling large gaps and provides flexible joints with shock-absorbing properties.
- Broad adhesion: effective on a wide range of substrates, including glass, many plastics and most metals.
- Fast curing: able to fully cure in a few seconds with appropriate UV exposure.
Application:
- Ideal for bonding PVC to polycarbonate in applications where a large filling gap and flexibility are required.
- It is used in various industries, including electronics production, automotive and materials engineering.
Storage method:
- Store in a cool, dark place, avoiding exposure to daylight, UV radiation and artificial lighting.
- The optimal storage temperature is 5 ~ 25°C.
- Shelf life is 12 months from the production date when stored in its original, unopened packaging.
How to use:
- Limit the product's exposure to light before application.
- Before application, make sure that the surfaces to be glued are clean and free of grease.
- Apply adhesive and cure using a UV lamp of the required intensity and distance, ensuring adequate cooling for temperature-sensitive substrates.
- Avoid continuous skin contact with the adhesive and use appropriate protective measures.
