Melkib UV 80P 50ml single-component glue cured with UV light, fast action, excellent adhesion, impact resistance
Description
Melkib UV 80P glue is a one-component UV-cured adhesive, created for a quick and reliable solution in joining materials. Thanks to its unique formula, Melkib UV 80P adhesive guarantees excellent adhesion to a range of substrates including glass, many plastics and metals, making it the ideal choice for a wide range of industrial applications.
Properties:
- Possibility of quick and complete hardening in a few seconds under the influence of UV light.
- The adhesive is characterized by good resistance to temperature changes, which ensures long-term strength of the connections.
- Guarantees durability and stability of connections even in difficult conditions.
- Excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials including polycarbonate, PMMA/plexiglass, glass, plastics and metals.
- Recommended for applications with small gaps (smallest 0.25mm), enabling easy installation of elements with tight tolerances.
Application:
- Optimal solution for joining materials such as polycarbonate with PMM/plexiglass, offering high quality and durability of the connections.
- Ideal for use in a variety of industries where fast and durable adhesion is required.
- Thanks to the properties of the adhesive, it is possible to precisely connect elements with narrow tolerances, which is crucial in many technical applications.
Storage method:
To ensure maximum effectiveness and product life, the adhesive should be stored in a cool and dark place, away from daylight and artificial UV lighting.
The product retains its properties for 12 months from the date of production when stored at a temperature of 5-25°C in its original, unopened container.
How to use:
To obtain the best results when working with Melkib UV 80P adhesive, it is recommended to follow the steps below
-
Surface Preparation:Make sure the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and free of grease. If necessary, use an appropriate cleaning agent to remove any contamination.
- Limiting light exposure:Due to the product's sensitivity to UV light and artificial lighting, store glue and prepared components in a shaded area or use light protection to minimize premature curing.
- Glue Application:Dispense glue directly onto one of the surfaces to be bonded. For small gaps or precise applications, use appropriate application tools such as automatic tabletop syringe applicators.
- Connecting the elements:Gently press the elements together, making sure that the glue spreads evenly on the joined surface.
- Glue curing:Irradiate the glued area with UV/VIS light in the range of 220 ~ 400 nm, optimized to 220 nm to 260 nm, to fully cure the glue. The exposure time and intensity depend on the thickness of the adhesive layer and the type of light source used.
- Inspection and Testing: After the adhesive has cured, carefully inspect the joint for stability and strength. Allow the adhesive to gain full strength before subjecting the joint to mechanical stress.
- Safety and protection:Wear impermeable protective gloves when handling adhesive to avoid skin contact with the product. In case of contact with skin, immediately wash the affected area with plenty of soap and water.
- Provide cooling:For temperature-sensitive substrates such as thermoplastics, provide adequate cooling to avoid deformation of the material due to the heat generated during the curing process.
