Description

The DuoXpand 8 × 80 T frame fixing, made of electro-galvanized steel, is a universal fastener for multiple non-structural fixings in concrete and masonry. Its special lamella geometry and dual-material concept ensure reliable anchoring and a wide range of applications, even near edges.

Storage recommendations

Store in the original sealed packaging, dry, at 5–25 °C. Protect from moisture, chemicals and prolonged UV/salt exposure. Avoid storing directly on the floor.

1) Which drill bit is required?
Use an 8 mm drill; minimum hole depth 90 mm.

2) Suitable base materials?
Concrete, hollow clay units, sand-lime, aerated concrete and typical masonry; see ETA-21/0324 for details.

3) What does the “T” version mean?
It includes a countersunk head screw for a neat flush finish.

4) Can I fix near edges?
Yes—gentle lamella expansion and two embedment depths allow edge-proximity installation (per ETA).
