Description
Sikaflex-221 steel grey 600 ml is a one-component, elastic polyurethane sealant with non-sag properties, offering excellent adhesion to metals, painted surfaces, ceramics and plastics. It cures with moisture and creates flexible, vibration-resistant and UV-stable joints, compliant with EN45545-2 for rail applications.

Storage Recommendations
Store in a dry, cool place at +5 °C to +25 °C, protected from UV and frost. Keep in original, closed packaging.
Instructions for Use
- Prepare surfaces – clean, dry and free of grease.
- Shake cartridge before use and load into a caulking gun.
- Apply at +5 °C to +40 °C; ideal +15 – 25 °C.
- Dispense continuous bead, avoiding air entrapment.
- Smooth joint before 60 min using Sika Tooling Agent N.
- Remove uncured material with Sika Remover-208; cured material mechanically.
- Clean tools and skin with Sika Cleaner-350H and water; avoid solvents on skin.
- After cure, sand and paint with compatible 1C-PUR or 2C-acrylic coatings.
