Product description
Hylomar Mis an innovative, non-drying liquid seal with a polyester-urethane base, created for professional and complex sealing applications. It offers resistance to a wide range of chemicals and is able to maintain its properties over a wide range of temperatures.
Properties:
- Resistant to a variety of substances, including fuels, oils, brines, glycol, methanol, petrochemicals.
- It has thermal stability
- Does not react chemically with metals or plastics
- Characterized by low electrical and thermal conductivity
- The product remains in a liquid-plastic state, not dripping even from vertical surfaces
- Efficient sealing even in conditions of strong vibration.
Application:
- as a sealant for flaps, covers, housings to be tightened later
- in the automotive industry for sealing the engine, oil pan, gearbox and gears
- sealant for water pumps and valves, gas turbines, electric machines
- can be used in place of or in conjunction with paper gaskets to provide a perfect seal
Usage:
- Before application, surfaces must be clean, dry and degreased
- Apply a thin layer of gasket to both surfaces, wait a few minutes, then assemble and screw the elements. If necessary, tighten after a few minutes.
- After disassembling the elements, the gasket can be removed with a cloth soaked in acetone.
