Teroson EP 5055 250ml two-component structural epoxy adhesive for metal, steel and aluminum, for bonding roof coverings and panels, protects against corrosion, easy to use
Description
Properties
TEROSON EP 5055 is a solvent-free and two-component adhesive made on the basis of reinforced epoxy resins. The material copes very well with bonding, among others:
- pure metal
- aluminum alloys
- galvanized steel
- coated panels
TEROSON EP 5055 cures at room temperature, although this process can be significantly accelerated by causing a chemical reaction of both components of the adhesive by heating them. The material does not contain isocyanas or silicones. A big advantage is the fact that the hardened binder is hard, but not brittle.
Benefits of using
- prevents corrosion
- easy to use
- adheres to a wide range of materials
- does not contain solvent
- it is possible to weld points before curing
- has a neutral smell
- high strength
Use
TEROSON EP 5055 can combine a wide range of materials. It is designed mainly for gluing elements exposed to high dynamic loads. It works best in combination with spot welding or riveting.

Instructions for use
- the surface must be dry and free of grease and dust. It is recommended to prepare the surface with TEROSON VR 10 / VR 20 remover
- it is recommended to use only pistols equipped with a piston rod
- before screwing in the static stirrer, a small amount of material should be squeezed out to ensure that both components are supplied at the same time
- after mixing, the adhesive is ready for use and should be used within 80 minutes
- to avoid displacement of the parts to be joined, it is recommended that they be fixed during the curing process (curing time depends on temperature)
Storage
Store in dry rooms at a temperature of 15 to 25 ºC. Storage at too low a temperature may cause crystallization of the components.
TEROSON EP 5055 can be stored for up to 12 months in its original packaging.
