Product description
LOXEAL 55-04 is a one-component anaerobic and thixotropic agent for securing medium-size threads against self loosening and loosening, leakage and corrosion. Hardening of the product takes place after cutting off the supply of air (oxygen) in the gap between the two metal surfaces (in the thread). It is especially useful where there are high loads on the threaded joint (drive systems, structural parts, mounting studs in flange connections).
Application
The glue creates an elastic joint, which sufficiently secures the thread against self loosening, replaces other, most often mechanical methods: spring washers, flexible and bent washers, lock nuts, etc. The product is resistant to gas, air, water, oils, alkalis and many other chemicals and to impacts and vibrations. It maintains its properties in a wide range of operating temperatures. It is especially used where resistance to strong impacts, vibrations and maintaining specific stresses is required. The adhesive also guarantees 100% protection against corrosion and tightness. The addition of a fluorescent substance allows the presence of glue in the thread to be detected using a UV lamp. Standard thread locking is achieved with a small amount of adhesive in the thread, the tightness of the connection is achieved when the coil is completely filled.

Working temperature range: -55 + 150oC
